Norman the Interested Cat by Cheryl Cage

Meet Norman the Interested Cat and all his furry friends! In this series of children's books by local Tucson author Cheryl Cage you'll get to know Norman, a curious cat interested in everything, and his other animal pals. Norman and the other characters in the stories are all inspired by the real-life animal friends of the author, brought lovingly to life on the page by Tucson artist Dennis Caldwell's beautiful watercolor illustrations. The series' themes of inclusiveness and kindness, both to others and to yourself, share important lessons for kids, and for all ages.

Tucson author Cheryl Cage has had a storied, and varied, career. Following her founding of the now 35-year-old aviation consulting firm Cage Marshall Consulting, Cheryl worked for 20 years as a political consultant and community activist. Now with 15 books to her name, and counting, she draws inspiration from those experiences, seeking to share her values of equality and kindness through her storytelling. Partnering with fellow Tucsonan, illustrator and conservationist Dennis Caldwell, together they brought to the page real-life cat Norman and other animal pals to share those values with the new generation.
