Longtime silversmith Erika Rose Mark is the heart and hands behind Lumenrose Jewelry. After falling in love with turquoise while working at a jewelry gallery in the bay area, she decided to learn metalsmithing in 2009. A couple years later she was ready to open her own studio, and Lumenrose Jewelry was born. Currently Erika works out of the 100% solar-powered straw bale home and accompanying studio she built with her partner Ben in rural Southern Arizona, near Tucson. Here, surrounded by the beauty of the Sonoran desert, Erika hand-crafts her graceful, elegant and empowering jewelry using thoughtfully and sustainably sourced stones and metals.
