A born performer and lifelong lover of soul, Tucson artist Connie Brannock has been playing music since she was a kid, touring the east coast with her high school band. She found success with her saucy lyrics and natural stage presence, and was signed by MCA Records in 1986. Rather than continue down that road though, Connie joined the army at 34. There she cultivated her talents for mentor and leadership, serving for 21 years. After retiring Connie moved to Tucson, and ever since has been playing and dancing all over the southwest.
